FROM MILKING COWS TO SAYING “I DO”
Dairyhouse Farm Barn has been in our family for over three generations. Tucked away in a peaceful Somerset hamlet, it’s a place filled with history, hard work, and heartfelt memories.
For many years, the barn was a working cow stall—home to our cattle and the daily rhythm of farming life.
We spent countless mornings and evenings milking cows here, never imagining it would one day be filled with fairy lights, flowers, and the joyful sound of wedding celebrations.
That all changed in 2016.
We—Nick and Aly—were planning our own wedding…
and couldn’t think of a more meaningful place to say our vows than at home, on the farm. The old cow shed was full of forgotten farm tools, hay bales, and dust, but we saw something more. With a lot of love (and plenty of help from family and friends), we transformed it into a magical, rustic space—and celebrated our wedding day right here with the people who mattered most.
That day sparked an idea. We realised just how special this space could be—not just for us, but for other couples too.
And so, Dairyhouse Farm Barn Weddings was born.
We’ve poured our hearts into every detail…
keeping the charm and character of the original barn while creating a warm, welcoming venue where love stories can begin. Dairyhouse Farm is more than just a venue—it’s our home, and we’re so proud to share it with others.
